Hamed has a background in mechanical engineering and scientific computing. He received his Ph.D. in 2018 from Northeastern University where he built computer simulations to study the behavior of soft materials. Recently, he joined Farese and Walther lab as a postdoctoral associate in data science. He will be building an infrastructure for storing and managing the data generated in the lab and then he will be pushing multi-omics analysis on biological lipids data.
